Encho Chagas

Encho Vinícius Chagas is an independent game designer and researcher from Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Started working with games developing Flash web games in 2002, then finally landed in a big mobile games publisher in 2006. After working on many companies, of many different sizes, finally gave up on working with games in 2010 to live as a graphic designer in ad agencies. But then, in 2013, a small tabletop prototype game was World Champion of Game Chef 2013. That game was called Pulse, and it was an immediate hit in Brazil. Encho took the opportunity as a wake up call and finally dedicated to further study and develop games independently full time. Pulse was never properly published internationally, as most of Encho's games and game development content, until 2019, when Looking for Home was released.
